Women (i) holding a degree who are duly certified by Federal or State Departments of education or by some equally comparable body and who are actively engaged in the field of education at the time of application for membership, (ii) whose conduct exemplifies self respect, for others and integrity, and (iii) who are able to pledge to pursue, in a cooperative spirit with other members, the purposes of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc., may become members of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc., upon fulfillment of the rules and regulations pertaining to membership as set forth in the By-Laws and the Manual of Policies and Procedures of this organization.
